There are experiences in life that lead you to new paths and opportunities.

This is what happened to me a few months ago, when I interrupted my professional career, moving from a world of certainties, especially economic ones, to a wider, unexplored territory full of new challenges.

Getting out of the “business routine” is in many ways disorienting.

There are so many questions that begin to whirl in your head. What really stimulates and excites me? Where can I channel my talent and professional experience? Through what means, skills and resources can I achieve my new goals?
Getting out of the routine led me to think a lot about myself and regain possession of my time
Suddenly my field of vision widened.
Perhaps this is precisely the first effect of “freedom”: transforming corporate benefits into personal benefits, letting you look at things differently, broaden your horizons, explore new desires and at the same time “ancient” passions that have been forgotten in a drawer.

With this blog I started from myself and my interests.

Travel, design, art, music, photography, sports.
Things I have always loved, but that I cultivated only in the very short time available to me. Now that I have a lot of it, I’ve decided to use it to do what I like best. Like riding a bicycle.
A mean of transportation that allows me to experience space and time in a different, slower and more fluid way.
On board of my fantastic “very vintage” chopper bike I stopped being in a hurry to do things, following my inner rhythm.
I discovered the pleasure of moving freely and experiencing mobility in a sustainable way, focusing on aspects related to my city that are difficult to notice when locked inside your car.

A nice way to leave my problems behind.

The bicycle for me goes beyond the concept of sustainable mobility, in fact in my case it was also a powerful “therapeutic” tool that helped me to get away from all those daily anxieties and worries that often make us stay still and inert.

Next FRAday we take a ride together.

If you liked this topic and want to deepen it, maybe next Friday we can have a nice ride together. I’m waiting for you on the beautiful Roman Lungotevere cycle path!
